The Jigawa state Executive Council has approved over 2.4bn for the upgrading of the state owned Media outfits and the supply of Television equipments for the proposed State Television, by Harris Pinnacle Communication and Messer Techno System West Africa respectively. According to the commissioner of Information, Youth, Sports and Culture, Honorable Babandi Ibrahim, the equipments to be supplied are two 50kilowatts A.M Transmitters for Radio Jigawa by Messer Techno System West Africa at the cost of about N227m, and an additional Digital Ready Transmitter and on air Studio for FM Andaza by E-PLUS to supply Digital Ready and on air Digital Studio for FM Andaza at the cost of N96m.
Harris Pinnacle Communication would supply and install Television equipment which include Transmitters at Dutse, Hadejia, Gumel and Kazaure at the cost of over N2.1bn with a completion period of Eight weeks.
The Commissioner also disclosed that the Council also approved the award of contract for the construction of 10no feeder road across the state at the cost of over N2.3bn. The roads are those of Limawa-Galamawa, Yalo-Unguwar Jibrin, Garki- Jangari-Buku-Kanya, Guri-Abiyani, Lambar Zauma-Duwugi- Gwiwa, Gantsa-Tujowo-Ahoto, Ayama Junction- Ayama Town, Arbus-Girbobo, Idanduna-Kadowawa, Jibori-Madachi.

The attention of the South East Zone of the People's Democratic Party has been drawn to spurious publications in a section of the media alleging unfounded claims of bias against the Hon Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah in the recruitment exercise carried out by some parastatals in her ministry.
The leadership of our great Party in the southeast makes bold to state categorically that this baseless allegation is yet another futile attempt by opposition elements to smear the image of the Minister and denigrate her well earned reputation as a distinguished Nigerian and a worthy assets of our great Party, the PDP.
Princess Oduah, though a proud daughter of the Southeast zone, has proven herself to be a detribalized Nigerian both in her private business and in the discharge of her duties as Minister. The current massive upgrading of airports in all the geopolitical zones in the country bear testimony to this.
We are proud to observe that Princess Oduah's performance in office is a major plank of President Jonathan's transformation agenda.
These sponsored provocative publications are designed by opposition elements who are envious of her sterling performance and who feel threatened by her rising profile as a dedicated minister and exemplary member of our great Party.
For the records, Princess Oduah is not involved directly or indirectly in staff recruitment of any parastatal under her. There is a well established bureaucracy to handle such matters while she concerns herself with the huge task of driving the well applauded reforms in the aviation sector.

Take a look at some places like Etche LGA in Rivers State after PDP completed the inauguration of their WARD and LGA excos till now they have not be able to hear anything from those who call themselves the PDP power holders talkless of to receive any money from them.
The way PDP handle their members now will determine how 2015 General election will be, I believe PDP is not doing this mistake only in Rivers State but in all the states of the nation.
Please correct your mistakes before you will regret at last.
